Hello, we have a situation-our neighbors kept wild cat 3 years in their garden and fed her. They plan to go on a long holiday. No access to the garden to care for the cat. This is a friendly black cat. She came with the collar, then dropped it somehow. We called everywhere but because of the kitten season they have no place. I have a cat at home and an allergy , other friends have a babies. We offering money to support the cat in the shelter or foster home. I am asking for the advise . What can we do? Where we can go? We feel responsible for this animal.
    Many thanks in advance.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand?

Are you looking to rehome your neighbour's cat?

Have you spoken to your neighbour? They may have already made arrangements for someone to come round and feed the cat whilst they are away?

Yes, my neighbours are going for a holiday and did not made any arrangements. They just keep the cat in the back garden. This is a domestic cat and as they said it has been in the garden for 3 years. This people will not do anything and preparing for the holiday. Yes me and other lady are trying to rehome this cat. I have not Facebook to post so this is the only option. I desperately need to be connected with somebody realdy to help.

Its an outdoor cat that they just feed and that sleeps in their garden? (I think that's what you said).
Why not just put some food out for it in your garden whilst they are away? It'll soon get the message that theres no food in the usual garden but that there's some in a new place. It can continue to sleep in its usual place.
You could ask the neighbours to contribute to the food cost before they go away.

Yes - if it's an outdoor cat it probably doesn't need to be rehomed, just fed.

Once you start putting food out for it, it will find the food. If you wanted, you could make a nice bed for it - somewhere safe, up off the ground.
