I was in a car crash 7 and a half years ago. Glass was in my face. The hospital I was in the A & E never took out all pieces of glass. A bit has started to pierce through my cheek now and am waiting an appointment for plastic surgeon as its extremely painful on painkillers. spent 8 hours in a & e few weeks ago but they couldn't do anything!. Can I take a case against this hospital or is there a time frame?

At the time I was told all taken out. Few days later woke to find glass on pillow. Went privately but was told to let heal that it had settled down but may arise in future, which has done. I have letters from said hospital denying aything left in, and have xrays and private report from then proving it was left in. advice really appreciated!
