digital boiler timer replacement

hi

I currently have a boiler ideal classic SE15ff. It is controlled by an old timer trac which is installed below the boiler. I want to replace it with a digital timer. ( the thermostat is separate and it is installed in the hall)

Can you suggest a suitable timer which would be easy to fit? ( see attached current timer and connections and wiring instruction. ( instruction seems different from wring....) Thanks

Any single Channel timer will do
The eph single channel
Is quite good

In relation to the wiring, will the current wiring (as per the attachments) be the same?

Simple answer is no not identical
Follow the instructions and if you not confident to connect it call in someone who can do it for you
