    Hi,
    I got a refurbished Echo Dot a few months ago, was dead on arrival. Put up return on Amazon and they dispatched a replacement same day, sent faulty unit back free of charge via N. Ireland.
    Its a chance you take but they are 100% behind their money back or replacement so cant really quibble. Since that the Echo Dot has been joined by two more and a big brother, great bit of kit for the price.
