As the temp dropped dramatically, we have to turn on the heating but it just doesn't work. When turned on the boiler, the screen showed number "7". Any idea to fix it? Or any recommended engineer? Thanks.

There is an internal component failure, you will need an RGI out to diagnose and repair.

Thanks. As the house was vacant for months and the gas meter just being changed recently, do you think there is any possible Bord gas did not supply the gas caused that?

Its not a 'no gas' fault. It's a component issue.

Will try to find a RGI to check up. Do you know how much they usually charge? Thanks .

Depends on the RGI, I would expect to pay 60-80 for a callout to diagnose.

RGII.ie website will give you list of engineers
