    Just make note that i7 'U' processors are significantly slower than i7 HQ models -the former is a low power, dual core, the latter is a high power quad core.

    Same applies to i5 - there are 'U' models and HQ models. The advantage of ULV models is that they sacrifice power (still perfectly fine for your uses) for slimmer, lighter laptops.

    An i7-7700HQ is a lot faster than an i5-7300HQ - but an i7-7500U is not much faster at all than say an i5-7200U. Again though, you're really not going to see any difference in your uses between any of the processors to be honest.

    The second two you'd be paying for mid-range graphics cards which would be pretty good for the latest games.

    Thanks TerrorFirmer. Going on that basis I might check for some I5 HQ processors and save some money. Get bogged down with so many options and configurations.
