Filing CAT online

    Hi all,
My wife received a property from her father last November. She is required to file a CAT return. I had a look at the paper form, and she cannot use this, as she is filing under Group A exemption (the property value is below the 310k limit). However, I cannot find anywhere under MyAccount to file this?

    Can anybody advise?

    Thanks

The form she needs to complete is a form IT38.

As far as I know the only way to upload this to revenue is through ROS online. She could register herself or maybe ask the solicitor that dealt with the transfer to upload the form.

    Thanks for that.

She was sent an IT38, but she cannot use this, as he is claiming exemption. I got onto revenue, so they are registering her on ROS so she can file the exemption!

Is it the PPR exemption that he is claiming from CGT? I didn't think the fact that a donor is claiming an exemption would exclude the donee from filing a form IT38. Revenue would be better placed than me on the topic though.
