Fuel pump for a Mini Cooper

    Hi guys,

    So, the petrol gauge has stopped working in the mini. According to mechanic, to fix this, the whole fuel pump part needs to be replaced (gauge is part of fuel pump?).

    Trying to google some info/cost on it. Not a mechanic, so not sure what to look for. Mini cooper 2012.

    Very common arrangement to have both the level sensor and pump combined in a module thats immersed into the tank from under the rear seat.

    Looks like an all in one unit for the 40Litre tank, but a split unit for the 50L tank.
