Department inspection

I have some rented ground that showed up an issue in the BPS application.

The department reckoned it want eligible for some reason so the advisory replied with all area is available for grazing, now its rough ground so probably needs to be topped before an inspection!

The department letter stated that "I am aware that further administrative checks will still be required before payment issues" where i signed it.

Does this mean I will defiantly get an inspection on the land and if so will they inspect all parcels??

Maybe someone has been in this position before.

    TIA

I'd say you will if it's flagged with a problem, is it grazed, or managed in any way, It's probably showing up in the pictures from the sky that it's not grazed or mowed....they can nearly measure grass with their equipment now.

More than likely you will have what they call a rapid visit, were somebody comes out looks at it usually with out an call, the satellite has found a problem.

Weathers gone too bad now but if the rushes are thick they should be topped.

Grand thanks, I dont mind delay once i get it, but it will probably be delayed until they check???

Did they check other land because i have a very fragmented farm and would be the whole day showing them and that doesn't suit part time farming!

Were you inspected due to a land eligibility issue?

That's right. It's called a Rapid Field Inspection or Visit. Keep an eye out for strangers walking your land in green plastic jackets!
