So Im getting the no satelite message only on c4, e4 and more 4.
I manually tuned it in other channels but cant record.
May be coincidence but the dish got a shot with a football on the same day this all started. First started to be jumpy and pixalated on them channels now its gone completely.
Any ideas what i can do other than calling sky and paying €100 or whatever it is now?

Are any of your Sky channels having problems? If it's onky those most likely a frequency change and they just neef a retune.

Probably need to fine tune the angle on the sat dish after the football hit. You might be getting the channels off 28.2 degrees no problem but now not off other satellite at 28.5 degrees!

Just on those channels. I retuned but cant record on other channels.
If i move dish is there a chance i will end up making it worse and end up with less channels!

I had a similar problem recently but it was comedy central, gold , dave and a few others that were not working.

Called out sky. Turned out to be a faulty LNB. Replaced and working great since.

How much was the callout charge and repair?

I'd also go with LNB, These are not a lifetime product and can go after 4-5 years.

Very easy pick one up in woodies or the likes and diy replace , not very expensive either.

No charge . Sky Q customer.

If your dish is accessible its an easy thing to swap yourself.

It would seem you need to undo whatever the football did, maybe a bit of a nudge of the dish (without loosening any nuts/bolts), or just the feed arm, if that's where the football hit. It's hardly an LNB fault if those are the only channels missing.

If you can't sort it yourself, it needn't be Sky you get out. (Unless like the poster above you can get it done FOC.)

You'd have gotten a free callout if you told them you were cancelling.
