Hi all, so just bought a 2013 Audi A4 yesterday (28/8/17) car was delivered to my house and I plan to change the insurance over from my old car to Audi tomorrow morning and then book vrt inspection.
My question is can I declare this car off the road for the month of August seeing as I actually didn't use it?
    Thanks.

Far as I know, the tax liability only starts when the car is registered here.

Yep you'll only pay tax from month of reg so wait until September to VRT it!

Or just book an appointment for after the first. VRT might be marginally cheaper as well depending on the mileage.
