WTD: Disc brake wheel set (AFS/Thru Axle)

Long shot but looking for a reasonably lightweight disc brake wheelset. Needs to have centre lock brake system (AFS) and thru axle (12x100 and 12x142) with Shimano freehub.

I was about to pull trigger on a set of Fulcrum 5 DB wheels from Probike kit but decided to see if there's anything available elsewhere first.

I have a set of unused MASON x HUNT 4Season Disc Road wheels sitting in the basement which I think have thru-axle compatibility.

I'm in Wicklow.

Can you confirm if the wheels are thru axle compatible and if so how much are you looking for them? Also are the brakes centre lock or 6 bolt?

I'm in Letterkenny so would have to arrange collection somehow or get you to send them by courier (€20 with DPD for a set of wheels in a wheelbox)

The wheels came with adaptors for thru-axle. I'll need to make sure I still have those, my basement has many bike bits in it.

The brake mounts are centrelock.

The wheels are currently €400 so I guess €300 for a decent discount over new.

I'll rummage around the basement this evening and look for the bits.

Do the wheels come with rim tape or are they similar to fulcrum/campagnolo and don't need rim tape (unless running tubeless) ?

If CJC passes I would like to look at/take these wheels.
Assuming they fit.
I have 15mm thru on the front and 12mm on the back.

Apologies for the delay. I was away at a wedding then had to rummage through the basement for parts.

I have in the original packaging a set of parts which shipped with the Hunt wheels, which I believe convert at least one of them to 15mm through axle (there's also parts for making them tubeless).

I don't know much about through axle compatibility, but I assume they can be shimmed down to 12mm. Hunt customer service is great though, I'm sure a quick phone call could clarify. The wheels were shipped in May 2015.





^^ the two narrow cylindrical parts at the bottom of the second pic have an internal diameter of 15mm, and fit into the two lock rings also pictured. Presumably they go one at either side of the wheel. So I'm guessing this kit is only for the rear wheel.

I'm going to pass on these, I'd have to get the rear wheel adaptor for 12x142 and then I'm no where near Wicklow and so postage costs are going to make them too much above my budget. Thanks anyway.
