Hi just looking for information from anyone travelling from Heuston to AIB bankcentre in Ballsbridge?
I'll be getting train up from Kildare every day but
what is cheapest way too get there from Heuston station?
Or even easiest way overall. As I know schools or coming back shortly.

    Thanks in advance.

From Heuston Station, get the 145 bus (right outside the main entrance, beside the Luas) and get off at Donnybrook Church, then it's a 10-15 minutes walk up Anglesea Road to Bankcentre.

There are some peak-time trains that operate from Newbridge or Hazelhatch to Grand Canal Dock. You can then get the next train (usually same platform if you change at Tara Street / Pearse) to Lansdowne Road and there is a direct entrance to the bank centre. All on the one ticket.

There are also some Expresso buses that stop at Heuston (probably St. John's Road stops) that will get you to Donnybrook

Put your exact locations and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings. Make sure you have selected "take neighbouring stops into account for origin and destination maximum 20 min walk".

Thanks everyone. I'll be getting train up from Athy everyday. Twice a week, sorting out to try get back on 5:35p.m. train from Heuston if possible in the evening.
Which maybe the dart and bus to Heuston could be the quickest.
Looking at different times of buses but try get to know more as go along.
Anymore tips or suggestions I'll gladly take.
    Thanks.

That's a nightmare journey I know a lad doing it from Carlow and he didn't last long taking the train. He ended up getting a motorbike and is happy out.

You could always cycle from Heuston out to AIB it's probably the quickest option.

Bike is probably last thing I want to use coming into winter season too be honest but thanks for the suggestion.
I've a friend holding me up twice a week up in Dublin, which thankfully will break the commute up for me.

The train is grand but the first time you miss it you'll be cursing Iarnrod Eireann

    Driving is worse again.

Winter cycling is fine, it really doesn't rain that much during your commute time.

    @iwillhtfu

I've a feeling I will be cursing them anyways. Whether I miss it or not haha!
Most likely I'll be taken the train that arrives in at 7:40 as I think one at 8:08 might be too tight for time.
Think just might use suggestion made earlier and take bus 145 too Donnybrook church and walk from there.
