Any one on the Imagine LTE Abbeyknockmoy mast getting poor speeds most evenings not getting above 10Mbps on a wired line.. after 12 it speeds right back up to 30. 40.. are we being throttled. Iam know more than two miles from the mast and I can see it. perfect line of sight...

My speeds are all over the place at different times of the day.. why would this be..

I was with them off that mast but speeds were so shockingly bad that I left them. Engineers came out twice to check equipment but was simply down to them overselling the mast and massive contention then at peak times

Bad is right. Im getting 1/3 Mbps allot of evenings. After 12 it shoots up to 40/50.
No good when family are in bed. How do I leave these guys ? What are my rights.

You are not being throttled, your on a shared connection. All 3G/4G is effectively shared bandwidth to the mast.

Quickest way to leave is to pay the €100 contract exit fee and forget about them

The other route is the small claims court and of course to do a charge back of your last 3 direct debits as you are not being provided with the minimum level of service promised
You'll need to call into your bank for to do the latter

They did promise a minimum of 30Mbps guaranteed to most of their customer base. So in this case, you should really be able to just burn the contract and leave, morally speaking at least.

It is a shared medium and is oversubscribed in many cases and with a vastly reduced spectrum allocation, I think between 31st July and Christmas things are going to get very very tight bandwidth-wise.
