While renovating a kitchen I took down the ceiling as it was going to be replaced as I had to run a few pipes and cables but the thing I forgot about was the wired Heat alarm that was in the kitchen and its location. The kitchen is renovated but the Heat alarm is now located roughly between the living room and the kitchen, should it be located in the middle of the kitchen? if so what cable is it as I may have to extend it by approx 1m
