Help-panic, c-max won't lock/unlock

    Hi, just done something stupid, was taking childlock off c-max & got distracted & pressed the locking clip back into the recess, cannot get it to go down again, rest of doors will open/lock but this door cannot close, looks like rain!!!

    Try opening the locking mechanism with the interior or exterior handle, then closing the door. Apologies if I've picked up the problem wrong.

    ^^ this or try press the the unlock button on the key fob.

    Got it fixed, put a screwdriver in as a replacement bar & fooled the mechanism, pressed unlock on the key fob & the catch opened, sorted

    No you were correct & the manual says to try that using the interior handles, I had tried both interior & exterior but didn't work, got the solution in the end, all well as they say, thanks for replying
