Just got turned away from a test centre because the vehicle didn't have axle weights listed - it's (presumably) been tested many times over the last 18 years and passed last in May 2015 -

They directed me to contact the manufacturer HQ here to get them written on one of their branded letter heads - they pretty much hung up on me.

So did I just get the wrong tester on the wrong day or am I going have get into more detective work?

I have found from an enthusiast site for these vehicles the values I need but obviously it's not from the manufacturer.

Shouldn't they be on the chassis plate?

There's usually 4 weights listed, all in kgs, from memory it's

GVW - maximum vehicle weight fully loaded
Train Weight - GVW + Max Trailer Weight
    Front Axle Max Load
    Rear Axle Max Load

What make and model? May be able to offer more advice if we knew what we were dealing with

Thanks lads - it ended up pretty much as I figured - I went to another test centre and it wasn't mentioned- will be staying clear of the first crew going forward.

Is it a bongo by any chance? You can sign a declaration for them to test at the axle weights you find online, there's no need for the letter from the manufacturer.

Not a bongo but not far off. Thanks for that I didn't know. Test was no issue in the other centre.
