4 ball better ball or 2 man team

    Does anyone know of any regular midweek 4 ball better ball comps that are run regularly around Dublin/Kildare/Wicklow?

    And by 4 ball better ball I mean 2 person team, better ball, 4 ball or whatever version you more experienced golfers might call it!
    Basically me and my mate want to play 2 man team stableford or stroke competitons together but not match play.

    Powerscourt run what I assume is a 4 ball better ball on Wednesdays. It is a 2 person team event

    It is singles some weeks and is an invitation anyway not an open.

    OP it is difficult to get Opens that are anything but singles or team events. They are out there though.

    Just use the BRS open fixtures site and check the date you want to play.

    In an Invitation you need to have a member with you on the line.

    Someone mentioned the European Club and I think they just run the matchplay every year for fourball. (great value)
