    Hi guys,

Bord Gais apparently save you from paying 600euro deposit by switching to Direct Debit on Estimated Bills. I just get the feeling they rip you off on this anyway?

What are people's thoughts? I use both Elec and Gas from them.

    Thanks

Nothing to stop you submitting readings.

Every second bill is estimated anyway in normal circumstances so this is all they mean there. Submit readings yourself and it'll be accurate.

The deposit is required for non direct debit, not anything to do with the reading cycle.
