    Swansea City:

Swansea captain Leon Britton is doubtful for the visit of Premier League leaders Manchester United.

Britton has been struggling with a back injury, and Jay Fulton and summer signing Roque Mesa are on standby to replace the veteran midfielder.

Fernando Llorente (arm), Nathan Dyer (Achilles) and Ki Sung-yueng (knee) remain absent as Swansea play for the first time since Gylfi Sigurdsson's departure to Everton for a club-record fee.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Britton, Carroll, Fer, Ayew, Routledge, Abraham, Nordfeldt, Mulder, Rangel, Kingsley, Van der Hoorn, Bartley, Mesa, Fulton, Grimes, Narsingh, McBurnie.

    Manchester United:

Manchester United head to Swansea for Saturday's Premier League clash without any new injury problems.

Long-term absentees Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are set to step up their rehabilitation by playing for United's Under-23s against their Swansea counterparts on Monday.

Argentina defender Marcos Rojo is still several months from returning from serious knee ligament damage.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, J Pereira, Valencia, Darmian, Blind, Jones, Bailly, Smalling, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Matic, Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera, McTominay, Pogba, Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Mata, A Pereira, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku.

Hopefully continue where we left off last week and play some more of that fast paced flowing ball.

Don't really care once we pick up 3 points.

Swansea are a tough team but they are without a couple of their beat performers so there isn't really any excuses for us not getting the win.

Seemed to spin back off the bar! On second viewing, I doubt he meant it to get that close to the goal.

Swansea nearly scored in the opening minutes.

Jonesy just hit the cross bar for us.

We are a bit more settled after a fast Swansea start.

    Gotta do better there Phil.

Abraham has some nice hold up play.

  • Swansea defending so deep

Tons of possession, nothing coming of it. Swansea really set up to frustrate it seems.

Really, it's a perfect opportunity to see what we've changed from last year. Swansea have no interest in playing the ball today, and last season that generally meant a draw for us. If we've copped on any bit, we should get a result. But making 20-30 passes before just having Valencia and Blind swing in a cross that could have been swung in after 4-5 passes is a bit redundant.

This will be a good test of how we do against a bus anywho!

Mou should know Abrahams strengths so should hopefully keep him quiet.

That tackle was much worse than it looked

The best thing you can say about Swansea is that it's not Cardiff, say the Valleys anyway.

    Thought Martial would start.

This the kinda opposition we'll face during the year where the winger Jose wanted would be useful.

Would stretch the pitch and be able to get balls in from byline rather than thro the middle the while time.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

He deserves a talking to, he hasn't stopped whinging all day and we're only 25 minutes in. Has given the ball away a lot too, could see him hooked for Martial if he doesn't get it together.
