    Hi Guys,

Looking to pick myself up a new car, part trade in for a 142 Renault Clio, in the coming months. I'll be 25, so looking to move away from something 'smaller' this time, have been looking at the Mercedes CLA180 and Audi A4 1.4tfsi, both i like & realise they're probably not for everyone! :o Is there anything else I should be considering?

I drive in an out of the Dublin city centre everyday & do a bit of motorway driving too, probably about 12-15000kms per year. I should note, that the 30-35k, is including a trade in value of in and around 10k.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks guys.

    John

A3 saloon would be around the size of the CLA.

Have you considered a Volvo V40 a bit of a left wing choice but Stylish and a bit different.... Being a small hatchback it will be more practical than a small saloon.
There a nice size not too small nor cumbersome to drive around town. Tend to be better speced than an equivalent germal rival aswell!

Very few if any petrol V40s sold in this country though.

I've driven V40 a few times, solid well built, d2 engine is nippy, one fault I found though was the visibility though, especially the rear window.
