New Zoe, same major fault?

When Renault introduced their second Zoe model, they supplied their own motor, unfortunately they also included the Battery Charging Impossible fault, now known throughout the EV world as BCI.
When the car is presented with a CP whose earth resistance, the car thinks is too high, some say over 140 ohms, the display indicates BCI, and if left connected, "check cruise control", and " speed limiter can also appear. At this point cruise is disengaged, and it may take a long time to clear the display.
NIE/ESB, say they are not concerned, as other EVs, eg, Leaf, have no problem at the same CPs, my service manager tells me "Renault are not interested in charging".My home CP, now out of warranty is unable to charge the car because of this fault, although the house RCD test is fine. Into year five, you might wonder how the Renault/Nissan alliance, can't sort this major nightmare, in an otherwise pwonderful EV.

I'm no electrical expert, but 140 ohms for earth sounds pretty bad? Or is it the car that is wrong?

I agree, but I tried several Zoe's, none would work at these "rouge" charge points, over a 5 year period, just this morning BCI appeared at my home point.
Quite hard to measure earth resistance without special gear.
I'm about to try an earth spike at home, although very wet days don't seem to make much difference?
