Incomplete SUSI fees submission

Hi, so, a really off the wall one here! I went from undergrad to postgrad in 2012 and all was fine, I completed my post grad which should have been conferred in 2014 however my fees are still outstanding. I submit an application to SUSI which went along as normal however, due to a period of ill-health, I never submit my final course acceptance. A full 2 years later I submit the FCA as part of the document checklist and to date, SUSI haven't engaged me, even to tell me to take a hike!

Has anyone ever tried to get SUSI to retrospectively award fees after so many years have passed?

Now before any jumps on me, yes, I was responsible for submitting the paperwork and I didn't, I accept that, I am just wondering if anyone has had anything similar.
