There was a power cut in my area today, power has been restored But it's like there hardly any power coming into the house now, the dryer won't work, my computer boots up but cuts after awhile, the kettle won't work, lights won't come on and if the do there very dim.

    Any ideas?

Most likely a "brown out", so a problem on the ESB side of things. It may damage electrical equipment so turn everything off and ring in the fault. Most likely neighbors are experiencing the same issues and have reported it already, recommend you find out. Sorry poor quality iPhone response:(

Thanks for replying , it has since come back too normal and will hopefully stay this way.
