Shower grout chipping away

    So the bottom of the shower is starting to lose grout after many years.

    Can this be salvaged with silicone sealant or is it necessary to re-grout?

    It's not that bad imo.

    I find it's always best to silicone around the shower tray since the tray will constantly flex while in use so grout will always crack whereas silicone has the flexibility to move with the tray.
