Hkc 1070 version updates

    Will an older 1070 panel (v2.7 Jan 2012) be able to communicate with a newer expander (swext10z v2.1 Apr. 2014) and Rkp ( RKP SL v4.0.1)

    I know it will require a version update for a gsm-q, but can there be the same issue with keypads and zone expanders?

    I dont think there is an issue with adding expanders and keypads.
    Yes there was an update to allow the use of the GSM-Q/SC to the older version alright.
    No harm having the latest software on the system either way.
