Letter from Doctor about Rehabilitative Work

Im due to be starting a job next week and I need a letter from my Doctor but what do I need the letter to say as I've made an appointment Monday as I've no clue.

Along with that letter I've requested a letter from my employer stating who I work for, what job I'll be doing, how many hours & how much an hour I'll be earning.

I'll be earning €9.54 an hour and working 12 hours a week so I'll earn €114.48 so I'll be under the cap of €120 so I won't be means tested is that correct?

Can I also also as because rehabilitative work will I be paying tax on that €114.48?

I'm under earning more than €120 so I won't be taxed on my DA payment of €193 because €28 comes out it for my HAP contribution.

So when I get both letters I just post them to Longford disability is that correct and is there anything else I need to do?

    Thank you

Have you asked Longford first if you can work, I've only ever seen them all for the letter and then approve job seeking?

The doc needs to agree that the work will aid your recovery or help you in some way and that you are physical able to do the work.

Is the work actually rehabilitative? If it isn't the doctor might be unwilling to write a letter saying it is.

You need to contact Hap and tell them you've started work as your contribution will go up now you have a higher income.
I'm not sure about tax on such a low income but it's not related to DA or anything like that, tax is paid based on personal circumstances. Maybe check with the tax office. I think you'd still pay Prsi but again you should check.

They said to me just get a letter from my Doctor and one from my employer and post it to them
