    Or

    Mooy and firmino?

Zaha out for a few weeks has me thinking Mata could be worth a shot. Could go RLC but thinking of moving away from Palace players.

How did Mata play at the weekend?

Got into great positions, played in some great balls, good block by Hart to stop a goal and he laid one on a plate for Lukaku which was blocked.

Mooy and Firmino will get more points longer term. Miki will be rotated and Mounie will likely fade away. Mooy and Firmino will start all games when fit and are main players in their teams

Zaha out but who to get in

    Ramsey... Will he start
Willian... Will chelsea go into meltdown
    Mooy.... Great fixtures
    Wijnaldum... Tough fixtures
    Mata.... Rotation risk
Arnautovic... Could be worth a gamble

Tempted by Mooy to free up cash or arnie as a differential

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,431 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

I don't know where this uncertainty over Ramsey starting came from. He's nailed on when fit.

I am leaning towards RLC in for Zaha - using the extra cash the week after to get Kane in for Jesus I think - between RLC & Mooy, but think RLC actually looked good despite Palace's poor result.

I think the 'when fit' is more the concern

Apologies but who is this Mooy lad?

  • Registered Users Posts: 451 ✭✭The Red Lad

Mooy takes set pieces for Huddersfield and was pretty important last season for them he should pick up some points for owners but I see a lot better options although I do see where people are coming from as Huddersfield have a nice enough run of fixtures. I've now to replace Zaha strongly considering Robbie Brady and using the funds to get Kane in after his usual dry august.

Getting serious now with Zaha, Lejeune, Fabregas out and Mariapa and Iwobi, non starters, have done Fab, Iwobi to Ramsey/Matic, for -4 and the bare 11 or take one more hit for a defender or midfielder have .5 itb.

I would not hit in a defender.
If you want to avoid a price drop on Zaha (which may not happen given any increase in the severity of the injury flag will mean more transfers out will be needed) I'd consider another 4.5M mid (RLC) to give yourself wiggle room.

The above assumes you've already done the -4!!!

If today's reports are true zaha is out for 4 weeks
Fabregas back next week for tough fixtures and possibly babyako back
    It's Defo worth a hit
Allied with the others a WC needs to be so considered
    You will be bleeding value

The -4 already done thinking of doing Zaha to Mooy for -8 as I don't fancy Carroll at home to United, will I pull the trigger?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,810 ✭✭✭bantee

Ok, Zaha to Tadic done. Hopefully Saints continue to create chances and he converts.

    Shipped Zaha out for Mooy.

Am considering Gabbi to Mounie....or is that a bit harsh on Gabbi?

Also said to myself I would try to avoid hits this season:)

    Any advice much appreciated.

I had planned on Gabbi to Mounie but injuries forced my hand
    I went mooy
Would not double up on Huddersfield tbh
I do have an awful feeling Gabbi won't start this weekend though........I'll have exactly enough for him to firmino but don't think I can justify a 4 point hit for it whilst still owning zaha and starting Scott dann away to firmino :D

    Think i'm going to bank

    Elliott(Speroni)
    Kolasinac Bavies Stephens(PVA, Stankovic)
    Salah KDB Tadic Walters(Carroll)
    Jesus Lukaku Firmino

Confident Walters will start this weekend (Burnley practically always play 4-4-2 at home)

Have a feeling Mounie could be one of those lads that's unbelievable at start of season and disappears without trace then😀

    Banking this week.

No injuries (Bertrand the only unknown?, but have Mee (WBA at home) to cover for him.

I started well, no need to mess around. Two free transfers next week will be nice to have.

Huddersfield on my watch now if Saints again fail to score.

They always do and id say the plan was to play it this week. However it would be tough to leave anybody out after the result against Chelsea so I'm a bit fearful. The cork signing may have made a difference to their approach also .As in cork ànd defour they now can play two technically good footballers in a middle 3 so they may look to not go as direct and rely on 442 anymore. I think I will chance Walters again this week but I see they have also bid for 2 strikers today so I reckon I'll definetly be selling next week.
