Who fights who?

Tomorrow, NK Nukes Guam, US nukes NK - What alliances form, who fights who? Personally I doubt much happens if NK push first.

Or

NK keeps threatening, trump says enough is enough and hits first, do china aid nk, what does russia do? Who vs who in this case.

Or

another scenario I cant think of. Who v Who?

I was at a student disco in Letterkenny in 1991, and the DJ announced that WW3 had started.. it was the Gulf War. I remember everyone grabbing their jackets and leaving. Myself and a few friends went straight home to watch the news... and eat Supernoodles. It turned out not to be WW3.

China have decided to start playing high-stakes geopoliticals. North Korea is an anachronism that the Chinese can use for leverage. It's the last of the old cold-war style Soviet states. The States know this, so cool heads will prevail in the next few months. Wouldn't be frantically looking for the iodine tablets just yet.

Its all a big game at the top Trump and co puppets of the Rothschild family.N Korea is a distraction. The third World War be between Israel backed by the US and the Arab Nations. Albert Pike wrote this. He was scarily accurate of the first two world wars decades and decades before it happened.

Billions will die just as the billionaires who pull the strings of this world rejoice. They Hardly need billions of people when almost everything can be automated and A.I (much more advanced than we are led to believe)can take care of the rest.

Could the Rothchilds in your scenario be confident of emerging from their luxury fall out bunker to hold the same position of power? To continue to ring fence a large chunk of the world's resources for themselves?

The safest option surely would be to maintain the status quo.

Even if NK were to nuke Guam then im pretty sure the USA would NOT nuke NK. They would use conventional weapons. It would be a publicity nightmare for the USA to nuke a civilian city (again), and there is no need for nukes unless you're going after mass destruction of cities.

China have no desire for war. They are an economic superpower now and would be ruined if their products couldnt be exported world wide anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if China invades NK just to take control before allowing the US to invade and hand power to South Korea. The last thing China wants is a land border with an USA ally.

Russia is a bit of a wild card. They dont want a war but they also want to be taken seriously as a world power.

Honestly, I keep having this debate with people and I don't get the notion that one country (or even two) launching nukes at each other automatically means that everyone will launch off at each other.

NK fires something at Guam.
US flattens a military base.
NK goes nuts and nukes Guam.
US possibly nukes NK back.

Everyone else flails and insists on talking like adults because of the massive loss of life that has already occurred. America dropping leadership on climate change did not lead to the whole world giving up - it lead to China taking the lead and a revitalised and aggravated Europe stepping up too. People are idiots, but there is a limit to idiocy that results in one's own destruction, even if a couple of thermonuclear nitwits do let go. Anyone that launches off after NK and the US hit each other is inviting destruction back onto themselves for really no good reason. MAD does not allow for third parties getting involved and any subsequent country that does is inviting the retribution of the MAD doctrine right back onto themselves.

At worst, NK nukes SK instead of Guam (or both) and gets flattened. China is not going to stand by a rogue nuclear nation actually dropping said nukes on people, alliance or not. Russia is a massive international troll, but even they are likely to back up a few steps. They -might-, if they had time, try "if you nuke NK in return, you have us to deal with", but given how fast this is meant to go, it probably wouldn't impact and they'd be fools to fling themselves in after the fact.

I don't think that anybody would support them, not even China.

But I think NK knows all of the above, and that's why nothing will happen.

WWIII would be a cyber / economic war.

China is winning. Will possibly overtake the US economy next year. No need to invade the US if they are gladly sending you all their money in exchange for the cheapest junk you can make. Hell in few years they'll be buying US assets for half nothing.



IF the US had developed Star Wars missile defence and they didn't fear a nuclear retaliatory strike then they might be tempted to use nukes.



But chances are Kim has left a nuke in a container park in a large US port so the ICBM's are a smoke screen. And both sides can make noises for the faithful and scare the doubters straight.


Or the cheapo way is a fertilizer bomb. Historical ones have been the size of a small nuke. You can even liquidise the stuff and pump it from A to B so easy for a nation state to fund, develop and conceal even in a foreign country.
