Car park crime, Pollardstown

There's a little car park at Pollardstown Fen, quite near Milltown.

Over the last week, there have been at least three incidents of car windows smashed while there and items stolen by thieves.

There's a sign about CCTV but doesn't seem to be active.

May I advise anyone parking there, or nearby, to keep their eyes open and report at once to the Guards if anything suspicious is seen?

    According to "kildarenow.com"
there have also been recent break-ins at cars at the car park for Moore's Well on the Kildare to Milltown road.

    - which is also in the same neighbourhood.

Vigilance by sharp-eyed local residents would be very valuable in solving this mini-crime-wave.

Seems to be rife at the moment. All the car parks around the lakes here in Blessington are the same. Can't leave anything in sight, numerous cars broken into.
