Was there much grass in the field when you spread and did it dry on the grass before the rain came?

If you had fairly heavy grass and put on thick slurry, I would be leaning towards waiting as long as possible.

If the slurry was watery and didn't dry on the leaves and there isn't any sign of slurry on the leaves then I would graze a block and see how the cattle react. If they don't like the taste, they won't be long telling you.
