Heating problem

    Hi all,

I have an Ideal Logic Heat 24 gas boiler which can heat radiators and water separately.

At this time of year I have no need for heat in the radiators and have the water come on in the morning and again in the evening.

Recently I have noticed that when I have only the water turned on, the radiators are heating up, which makes it necessary to turn them off at the valve on the radiator.

I assume that I have a valve or switch somewhere which is failed or failing.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Radiator motorised valve is probably stuck slightly open, the end switch mustn't be making contact though as otherwise the boiler would fire all the time.

Is it usual to just replace the motorised valve or are there other options?

Take off the electrical actuator and rotate the spindle on the brass valve to ensure is moves freely.
