    Hi folks,

Im looking to get a jump starter that works off the mains. All I can find are portable battery packs and I dont want one of those.
Something like this, but surely theres cheaper out there?

It is expensive enough to build a power supply that can provide 100s of amps at 12v

I don't think there is an easy way around it

    Really? Crap.
I know nothing about electricity really. Just presumed if you can get a battry powered jump starter you could surely get a plugged in one.
Ill just have to get the pricey one so. Thanks.

I have this one it's a few quid dearer but Amps seem to be higher. 80 amps vs 75 amps jump start and 20 amps vs 12 amps fast charge.

If you have an AXA card you might be able to get 10-15% off the above price.

I'd recommend a c-tek charger they're brilliant. Leave it on a dead battery for 15 to 20 mins take it off and you're ready to go. It isn't what they're designed for but it's never failed me yet. Leave it on a marginal battery overnight it will be like new.
