Im in process of getting hkc alarm installed and installer asked me to get a 3 sim card. When i went into local 3 store they said they dont do them anymore. Will other phone networks do a sim suitable for hkc alarm or what should i look out for? Inslaller said it would cost 4.99 is this a standard price?
    Thanks

Just with the price he is mentioning that suggests the basic HKC-SC unit.
Did he mention app control to you?

If it is the HKC-SC then I comes with its own SIM so you do not need to get one.
Besides it will only function with the one it comes with.

In that case hold off on getting the Sim, by the sounds of that it is the HKC-SC unit so no need for you to get one.
