I have a vokera boiler that's bubbling when I knock it on, Iv googled this and it looks like condensate is blocked.
I'm only in the house a year and I'm unsure when previous owner serviced boiler last so I'm thinking of getting a service from my supplier (Esb) for €89.
Does this cover any parts, say if I need a new heat exchanger or anything or is it simply a call out and a check.
Also if it just is my condensate pipe will that be unblocked in the service for the above price.
I'd nearly just disconnect the pipe tomorrow myself but it's prob due a service anyway for peace of mind at least.
Also if it's cheaper to call in a local man I'd do that too, I'd rather spend locally.
Any idea how much a rig plumber is for a boiler service? In Midleton, cork.

    Thanks

The cost of the service does not include parts, certainly not the cost of a heat exchanger.
A good service tech will check during the service that the condense trap and drain is clean and clear and flag any other problems that they find.

Your better option is to go with a local
Rgi it's cheaper and there's more flexibility with them than utilities as they just go on their checklist and nothing else
