My Massey 135 multipower would'nt start and either ran out of diesel or someone drained the tank. Having trouble bleeding it. Got diesel in the filters and coming out of the 2 bleed screws on the side of the pump but nothing coming out of the pipes at the injectors. Ran battery flat at that stage and charging it overnight. can anyone tell me if you have to turn the ignition to bleed at the injectors or does operating the lift pump on the right hand side get the fuel to them?
Also have problem raising the bonnet as there appears to be a second small radiator on front of the main rad and fixed to the bonnet with connecting pipes to the engine which is restricting movement of the bonnet. Has anyone come across this before?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Does the diesel "spurt" at the bleed screws on the injector pump when you manually activate the lift pump? If not or if it's weak, the diaphragm may be gone in the lift pump.

If it does, after bleeding at the 2 bleed screws on the injector pump, loosen one of the high pressure pipes at the injector and crank the engine. It should allow any air out and the engine to start on the other 2 cylinders until you tighten the pipe again.

    Did you get it started?

that extra 'radiator' is the cooler for the multipower system, be careful as the pipes going to it are steel and are renowned for cracking if you stress them too much. If you take off the panel in the front of the grill you can get access to the cooler to disconnect it if you need.

Best bet if you can is to get someone to tow you if your getting a decent spurt of fuel. Leave one pipe open and tow it with it in gear.
