Setup OpenDNS on your router. Then the block will be network wide.

This wont block their own data connections, if present.
This wont block access on other connections such as at school, friends etc.

Easy to do as you need to change your DNS servers and point to the OpenDNS servers. Check out https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#results

You just have to log on to the router and set a couple of values

EDIT: Having said that, I have just noticed that these settings are currently being ignored. They had been working fine before.
Anyone else experience this? Using Eir FTTH.
Hadn't put in OpenDNS settings for Ipv6, could that be it?

EDIT: It was an Ipv6 thing. Set the pritocol type back to ipv4 and it's working again

Thanks the guide very helpful, only problem is when I access my vodafone router, I cannot find the 2 DNS columns, one of them is, I go to basic, then lan, then there is primary DNS and secondary DNS. --I think its this option, do I just put in the open DNS numbers onto the primary and secondary, only thing worrying me is that, its already blank, the guide told me, to save the numbers, incase I want to revert back. So if I were to go back, do I just cut out the DNS server settings and leave it blank as it was?
The other option is I go to advance and then DDNS option. There is no:''Scan for the letters DNS next to a field which allows two or three sets of numbers, each broken into four groups of one to three numbers. It might look like this:''

    DDNS is different
Have a go at the blank settinga that you can see.
Check if there is a separate set of settings for ipv4 and Ipv6 - that's what caught me

If using OpenDNS, you can either use their default settings, or create an account and filter by category and you can then also whitelist and blacklist sites as needed. Also, if you dont have a fixed IP address, you will need to install the OpenDNS updater on your PC which periodically resyncs your IP address with your account

Yes I have it set up on my Eir FTTH and it works good and easy to set up. Still using ipv4

One thing you must be careful of with OpenDNS it only blocks you from actually visiting the site. If you go to Google and look up stuff and then click on images on the Google search it will show everything..... ( unfiltered) as it's Google accessing these sites not your connection.
