My friend is 19 and needs to sign on JSA, however parent is working part time while claiming the other 4 days, DSP want means test information on the parent regarding income but it is way too high, can the DSP actually check what someone is earning? If yes then how so, through tax? Or bank?

    Would appreciate help thanks

The DSP will simply ask for copies of your friend's parent's pay slips for the past few weeks.

They will ask for proof and can look it up themselves as the parent is claiming sw.
