Moving to Wexford

Hi, I'm hoping to relocate over to Ireland from the UK. My late father was from Wexford town ( Batt street ) and I used to spend most of my summer holidays there as a child. I don't have any family left over there so I have no idea how Wexford has changed over the years. I would be grateful for any response.
