CMETB course I'm doing query

    Hi ,

    So I'm in the middle of doing a full time welding course with etb, it lasts for 32 weeks. Now we were told we were aloud 3 days sick first 16 weeks and 3 days final 36 weeks.

    We are nearly 16 weeks through the course I have already taken 2 days. My problem is I was in hospital from Sunday to Wednesday and have sick note from hospital. Can they not pay me now for reasons unforseen I couldn't attend?

    There is 2 men in my class, they both collect payment for their partners and children. Now I don't know how much they make doing course let's just say 500euro.

    They both missed a day since start and were docked 100euro. Whereas if single person missed a day they were docked 38euro. How can they do this?
