    Enter your user code
    Goto Manager Menu
    Set Time and Date.
    Here is the user guide

If the menu doesn't show up your code is not set up with the correct permissions. You would need the engineer code to change this.

If you use your user code and the alarm starts to arm then that code does not have permission for the manager menu.
If you have engineer access you can set it in the timers menu.
If you down power the alarm again it will give you the option to reset the time again.

    Yes.
Does that code let you enter the Manager menu. If not your code has not been set up with the correct permissions.
    Is this system installed long?

    Very poor/lazy programming.
How long is the system installed?

Probably a bit late to get the installers back to finish the job properly.
You really should have a user code that allows you all of the user functions.

If you want to see if the system defaults you could just default the codes and then have full access to your system.

how would i do that ?

Down power alarm, remove factory link.
When you power up with link removed it will ask if you want to default all, if this appears you scroll to default user/installer codes and press yes. This will default just the codes. If the system is engineer locked, it will tell you so and you won't be able to do same.
