The easiest way is the GSD i1070 . This will allow you keep your existing sensors & contacts and there's plenty of options on app monitoring.
There is some good information on different apps & features across different systems here.
    Is the house prewired?

A wired system using the cabling you have in place is the best option.
Always go for a hybrid as this gives you the option to add wire free sensors as well as wired.

Is there a reason for the upgrade, is the system you have causing any issues?

No reason really. Eur on phone watch was in trying to sell an expensive system with an expensive monthly monitoring fee. Thought we'd update the dated keypad and modernise it a bit. It's in 15 years and hasn't gave a minutes trouble.
