    Hi everyone.

My partner jntends to return to college in September to finish her Level 8 honours degree in Social Care. She finished her Level 7 ordinary degree in Social Care in 2014.

She qualifies for the Back to Education Allowance but we are confused as to what rate she would be entitled too. We have 2 children aged 9 & 2. Is she entitled to an increase for a qualified adult and children?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DSP should be able to answer your question.

She would only be entitled to a qualifying adult if you are already a qualifying adult on her current social welfare payment.

AFAIK, the current payment that she receives, remains the same.

What ever she currently gets thats what she will get. Nothing changes regarding joining Uni
