    Would anyone be able to recommend a good system? Circa €500 budget, don't want monitoring, trying to use the wires that the builders put in so trying to avoid wireless. Thanks!

    It is unlikely that you will get any decent system for under that. Anything around those prices involves rental contracts or lengthy monitoring contracts..
