Radio with MP3 playback via USB

So, my 11 year old has decided to break into the piggy bank and buy a small radio for his bedroom and before looking elsewhere I thought I'd ask advice here. The criteria are as follows:

    1. Compact
    2. FM radio
    3. USB playback of MP3 files
    4. Decent sound quality.
    5. A clock function on the display
    6. Budget of €100
    7. Bluetooth streaming would be nice.

Open box or ex display items are perfectly acceptable if the price is right.

Other than a mini hifi system we have toyed with the idea of using an old mobile phone to stream FM radio, MP3, and Spotify to a decent bluetooth speaker such as a JBL Flip 3

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Q,

I would have a few radios in stock but none which would have all of the features listed above at that budget. The closest I would have would be Pure Evoke H2:

however it doesn't have USB playback or Bluetooth. The other radio I would recommend would be the Roberts Blutune 50:

    https://www.richersounds.com/product/internet-dab-radio/roberts/blutune-50/robe-blutune-50

This is a DAB and Bluetooth clock radio but again doesn't have MP3 playback via USB, it only has a USB charger.

Let me know what you think

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks David, the lack of USB playback is a deal breaker I'm afraid, its about the only feature that isn't negotiable. I'll continue looking :)
