Any obvious reasons why Std Cut off is reduced.

    Married Couple, one income, SWO income 5,691 so tax credits reduced by 20% of this 1,138.20 but why would Std Cut off be 33,935 and not 42,800

    Because no one ever bothered to transfer the spouses cut off point to the main earner.

    33800 is the standard single persons cut off point.
