Hi,

I'm starting to rent again after two years living at home after college. I've found accommodation, but have to provide a landlord's reference to the agency. I do have a reference from 2015, but when I tried to phone the landlord to get an up-to-date one, the number has been changed so I couldn't get through. Do I just send them the old reference, or explain that I don't have current details for my most recent landlord?

Alternatively, is there a way to find current contact details for a previous landlord? The tenancy was registered and the property is still being rented out.
