Hi - I am looking to get a cabinet made to cover a new boiler installed in a home renovation.

The boiler is in the alcove of a chimney breast in my dining room.

I sent the above photo Cash and Carry Kitchens and they quoted me 1000euro. Too much for me. Iv checked Ikea to see if they have anything i can retrofit but their tallest cabinets are only 1.8m which falls well short.

Id like 2 double doors above and 2 below as a loose start idea.

If anyone has any bright ideas or where to look next id appreciate it. Was hoping not to spend more than 500.

edit.. apparently im not allowed post a photo since im a new user.... great

    Thanks/
    E

what part of the country are you in.
try any of the smaller kitchen companies.

personally I would build a stud frame around the wall then put a pelmet rail on top of that to give it a decorative face. then hang some doors .
you should do that for 300-400 yourself depending on the size of the doors

Wicks in the U.K. do a kitchen press designed to house a boiler, but hard to get here. There is an IKEA kitchen unit that is close size wise. If your not doing a DIY on it any wardrobe or kitchen company will make something up...

    +1
if you take the measurements of the ope, then with a bit of care and attention you should be able to make the framework/pelmet rail facing to suit standard doors.
Look at makeup of a kitchen cabinet: doors will be say 595 on a 600 cabinet
