How much on average would you expect to fork out to remove a bath and to install a 1700 x 800 shower cubicle with glass screen incl. labour costs of tiling of that shower area? Height of shower cubicle area is 98 1/2 feet. How many days would it take for this work to be completed usually?

There are so many "how long is a piece of string" questions lately.
Does the waste need to be moved?
What type of tiles are you providing?
    Are you tiling the floor.
    Is the floor level?
Will the waste of the shower now have to be buried under the floor?
Is the waste of the shower further away from the exit point?
With insulation provided I'd estimate between 50 and 5000 euro.
More information needed. Photos are also great

Does the waste need to be moved? No.
What type of tiles are you providing? Plain 65 x 33.
Are you tiling the floor. No. Shower tray and flooring will be lino.
    Is the floor level? Yes.
Will the waste of the shower now have to be buried under the floor? Not sure.
Is the waste of the shower further away from the exit point? No.
    With insulation provided - ???

I priced the tray, waste, cubicle and it's €1,300....not including cost of the tiles. I was just wondering how much the costs of labour would be and how long it will take for the work to be completed.

That's sounds ridiculously expensive, how big is the tray and shower door. Have a look online for shower doors, they're an absolute rip off in this country but comparable ones about 1/2 the price in the UK but shipping is the problem.

1700 tray? Sure that's as long as a bath. As Dr.C says, that price is riduculous. You could look at a 1200 x 800 tray and enclosure/panel (more than big enough) for circa €400 available locally. Have a look at the link below. I've bought plenty from them without issue. They can be haggled with on the day. Bring cash.

In addition to sleepers question, are the walls around the bath currently tiled? I'm assuming they are in which case the plasterboard will have to be changed as it normally falls apart when removing existing tiles.

just priced a 1400x800 walk-in shower tray and a 1200 wet-room glass panel in"http://rightpricetiles.ie for €345. why would you need to change the waste as i presume the shower waste pipe will connect to the original bath one.

Bath waste pipes are usually above floor level.
