Hi does anyone have any advice? I'm having money troubles like many but I need €100 by the weekend is there any places in Dublin who do quick loans or anything? I've tried SVDP to no avail I have small children and it's just literally till next week that I need a lend of the money. I'm not in a credit union and the bank certainly
Wouldn't help. I can't find much on google. I have no family to ask and I'm embarrassed to be honest. Thanks for reading.

What's the money for? I'm sure there are places that will give food if that's what it's for. And clothing maybe. Charities like svdp. I can't see too many giving cash.

Groceries and electricity. I know I can't find much information online even a pawn shop maybe? If they are still around. I've just gotten myself into a small bit
Of debt so am struggling,I was just wondering is there any help for situations like this. I will try giving SVDP a call again tomorrow. Thanks for replying.

Provident sounds like a good option for you

High interest rates but quick money and if you can pay it back quickly it shouldn't be hassle

Are they quick to deal with? Is it a long wait? Will give them a call thanks! I wasn't sure they were still around.

Go to Svdp and explain your situation, tell them you will pay them back... stay away from money lenders

Theres a couple of Pawn shops on Capel Street in Dublin. There is also CEX which buys consumer electronics. I've bought and sold things in there many times. They only accept stuff in good condition though.

I have asked I haven't heard back. I hate asking svdp I feel like a beggar and I feel bad as I know there are worse off people out there. They are an amazing charity .

I don't have anything to sell and I actually sold something in a CEX store like old dvds and cds .. thanks for your reply.

Can you contact your local CWO?
They may be able to help if your need is urgent enough.

Fairly quick. You just need a utility bill and a copy of passport or driving licence.

Apply on their website, you'll get a call (within a few hours) of their agent most local to you, advise what amount you need - provide the above documents, agree a repayment plan and there you go!

Hope you sort your troubles soon, however you go about it

Provident is 30 euro charge in the 100.
Borrow 100 pay back 130 over 26 weeks at a fiver a week. Multiply that for however much you want.
If it's short term problems then a one off borrowing to get you out of a hole. Don't fall into a debt trap though.

Ask in your local credit union about their small loan scheme. Its a scheme to stop people going to money lenders. You do not have to be a credit union member.

You're in a hard situation but finding a credit company that ready to lend fast money is really hard. If you have friends with extra money, they could lend you easily.
